Easy Blueberry Chia Jam

Make this super easy sugar free Blueberry Chia Jam with fresh or frozen blueberries! Add to toast, yogurt or oatmeal for a quick and nutritious snack.

Ingredients  

  • 2 cups blueberries fresh or frozen
  • 2 tbsp chia seeds
  • 1/4 cup apple juice
  • 1 tbsp honey optional (> 2 years old)

Instructions

  • Add blueberries and apple juice to a saucepan and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes, mashing with a fork or potato masher.
  • Turn off the heat, add chia seeds and honey (if desired) and mix.
  • Let it cool completely and transfer to a glass jar.
  • Refrigerate or freeze (see storage instructions for more details).

Notes

  • Store in airtight containers in the fridge for about 1 week or in the freezer for up to 3 months.
  • Serve with pancakes, waffles, toast or to flavor yogurt.
