Equipment

Ingredients

  • 1 cup greek yogurt
  • 1.5 cups all purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3 tsp baking powder
  • 1/3 cup marinara sauce
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tsp olive oil for brushing pizza and greasing

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450F and grease a large baking sheet (or line with parchment paper).
  • Add flour, salt, and baking powder to a large mixing bowl and whisk it together.
  • Add Greek yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix with a rubber spatula until the dough forms.
  • Finish mixing with your hands until the dough is elastic and non-sticky.
  • Split the dough ball into four equal parts for individual pizzas, eight equal parts for mini pizzas (lunch box size) or make a large pizza.
  • Open the pizza dough using your hands (my preferred method) or a rolling pin on a lightly floured work surface.
  • Transfer the pizzas to the prepared baking sheet. Brush a small amount of olive oil on the dough, mainly the edges.
  • Spread pizza tomato sauce thinly, along with cheese and your favorite toppings.
  • For personal pizzas, bake for 9-10 minutes until the edges are golden brown. When making full-size pizzas, bake for 11-12 minutes. When making mini, lunch box pizzas, bake for 8 minutes.

Notes

  • If you follow the ingredient ratios described in the recipe card, you will need very little flour for rolling out the dough.
  • Brush olive oil on the pizza crust before adding the toppings; this will ensure your pizza is extra crunchy!
  • Make sure to grease the baking sheet before adding the pizza dough; this will help achieve that crispy crust on the bottom.
