Equipment

  • 1 Kitchen scissors

Ingredients

  • 2 slices bread whole wheat
  • 3 nori seaweed if you use small sheets, if large only 1 is enough.
  • 2 black olives pitted
  • 1 slice cheese
  • 1/2 avocado

Instructions

  • If your bread slices are not rectangular, cut the edges and shape as per picture instructions.
  • Place bread on toaster.
  • Cut Frankenstein's hair, mouth, and stiches (make sure that your hands are very dry, and you use small kitchen scissors).
  • Cut cheese eyes.
  • Cut black olives in half.
  • Mash the avocado and spread on toasts.
  • Assemble the Frankenstein per picture instructions.
  • Have fun!!

Notes

  • Nutrition facts are calculated per serving.
  • Toasting the bread slices is recommended for firmness.
  • If you don't have seaweed, use black olives instead. See post for substitutions.
  • I used the same brand as the nori seaweed I linked to the recipe, however, the larger sheet. If using small I think it is easier to cut and shape.
