Instructions

  • Set a piece of parchment paper (or wax paper) on a baking tray or cookie sheet.
  • Layout the pretzels in an asterisk-shape as per picture instructions, using about 8 sticks per web.
  • Repeat for eight pretzel webs.
  • Place the chocolate into microwavable, icing bags (or a microwave-safe bowl). If using chocolate bars, make sure to break them into pieces.
  • Microwave on low voltage in 20-second intervals massaging the chocolate in between or mixing the chocolate if using a bowl.
  • When the chocolate is totally melted, make a small hole with scissors in the corner of the bag.
  • Hold the bag tightly and squeeze the chocolate out, starting on the center of the pretzels in a circular motion.
  • Wait about 1 hour until the chocolate cools at room temperature, or place them in the fridge or freezer for a quicker process.

Notes

  • Nutrition facts are calculated per serving
  • You can also melt the chocolate in a small microwave-safe bowl and transfer it to a Ziploc or icing bag before drizzling it.
  • Ensure the chocolate web is not too thin; otherwise, it can break easily. I made these with my 2-year-old, so they don’t look perfectly shaped, but we had lots of fun making them!
  • Piping bags are the best for making these pretzel spiderwebs, but you can also use a Ziploc bag to cut off the corner.
