Baby food does not have to be bland or unseasoned. This fragrant baby-friendly chicken curry recipe will introduce your little one to a variety of flavors from the beginning. This is important to help develop your baby’s preferences and raise a confident eater.
Fresh or dried, herbs and spices from the beginning can be added to baby food and they are a great way to add flavor without the use of salt and sugar, which should not be used.

Frequently ASked Questions
Without salt added, it is suitable from the beginning of introduction to solids. However, I always recommend to slowly add the combination of flavors to give a change for the baby to adapt and try as many things on their own as possible. For example, you can offer rice, chicken with turmeric, sauteed broccoli with garlic, start simpler and a couple of months into introduction to solids this dish can be offered as it is more elaborated from several ingredients and flavors standpoint.
No, it is not spicy. I added a mild sweet paprika and garam marsala and curry are not spicy. However, there is nothing wrong with spicy for babies, you can even add a little bit of black pepper, if desired. But, again, I suggest starting slowly with the flavors and saving the spicy seasonings until a bit later into the process.
