These Christmas oat cookies are healthy and perfectly crunchy! Made with only 4 ingredients, it is the perfect Christmas cookie to bake with the little ones.

Ingredients
- Oat flour: A healthier alternative to wheat flour, it is packed with fiber, minerals, and B vitamins.
- Powdered milk: Use unsweetened powdered milk.
- Butter: You can use regular salted butter in this recipe.
- Brown sugar: This is a low sugar cookie recipe, the brown sugar combined with the powdered milk gives the perfect amount of sweetness.
- Water.
- M&M’s: Optional, can be used to decorate. Remember to use with moderation as it contains sugar and food coloring.
Step by Step Instructions
- Mix the oat flour, powdered milk, butter, and brown sugar using your hands. The mixture will be crumbly.
- Add the water and mix until the dough is formed and stops sticking to your hands. In the beginning it will stick, as you keep mixing it will incorporate the water and become soft and moldable.
- Place the dough in between 2 pieces of parchment paper and open it to ¼” thickness.
- Transfer to a baking sheet covered with parchment paper.
- Bake at 356F (180C) for 12 minutes.
- Decorate with M&M’s if desired.
Recipe Notes
- If you would like the M&M’s to “stick” to the cookie, you need to add them before baking. If you do so, they may crack a little during baking.
- If you add them after baking, they will not “stick” to the cookies.

Storage Instructions
These oat flour Christmas cookies can be stored in a cookie jar or air tight container at room temperature for up to 1 week or frozen for later up to 3 months.
